Unfortunately, converting back to the electric jacks might be the answer however they aren't flawless either. I was going to buy a Carriage from a dealer the summer of 2011 until I asked the salesman...

With my RL, both slide will start but then one...

With my RL, both slide will start but then one will hold still while the other slide all the way out. Usually the kitchen slides first and then stops while the other side slides all the way out.
