Thomas, just remind Her that the induction cook to needs Pots and Pans that have a magnetic bottom (more that likely She already knows that).

Thomas, if you have access to a good current meter, connect it in line with the Induction cooktop and check the current draw using just a single element. Set at a power level of 10 it should draw 12...
