Dave, this is Stoker....a fairly new member to the group, but I see you are online, and I've seen your name in the past and deduced you are one of the regulars. I seem to remember you may have moved to a diesel pusher? Hope you have Cummins in it. I work for Cummins....at any rate, is there an area within this forum that has rigs for sale? I can't locate anything. Having a 2013 Redwood 38BR, I'm thinking of selling it and looking for something newer.
Happy birthday. I was concerned about all my gray hair the other day until my DW informed me that it is not grey it is chrome, and let's face it chrome looks great on anything made in the 50's and 60's
Dave,
I believe you had mentioned before that you used the aero cosmetic waterless wash and wax? If you do, do you, still use it and what is you likes or dislikes with it? I have to start storing my unit in a warehouse and will not be able to wash it as often as I wish too. So Imam looking for ideas to deal with this issue. Thanks, Bruce
Hi Char, I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the rig. It's 10:45pm snd we just got home from a buisness trip with the new MH. We love it! We still miss some things on the Redwood but over all we're thrilled. So far it has 2200 miles on it and the diesel is starting to loosen up a little. At 68mph we're getting a solid 8mpg. After it gets around 40,000 miles it should be broke in and I'm being told to expect around 9.5-10 mpg.
Wanted to come in and say hi hope you and your wife have gotten out in the new rig. We took ours out this past weekend for the first time. We met a couple from on the site had a nice time chatting with them. Pretty cool meeting someone from the forum. There were 3 redwoods at the same campground and the same paint theme. Hope everything's good for you both safe travels Char
