Power cord Winder

I'm having problem with the winder pulling in the cord when the weather is below 40 degree, has anyone else seen this problem and is there a manual available? Does anyone know if there tension adjustment? Thanks for the help.

the annaconda WILL fight you when cold...
do what I did when parking, park so that you are as close as possibile and only
pull out the bare minimum to reach and keep it straight...

then when retract time, disconnect cord and lay it straight out to lessen the turns, etc...

Thanks for the response I did have several feet out but I couldn't use less where I was parked. I couldn't get it in so I tied it the trailer hitch with zip-ties. I haven't tried it again but I will next week I'm moving it to shop for another repair.

I couldn't imagine that winder being effective in colder temps. I need to retire. Maybe that will get me outta' this cold weather.

Well I'm retired and it didn't work at about 40 degrees. They said the motor was bad but install new unit, only time will tell. I try and stay where it is warmer but it 's been cold here southern AL.

Well it wasn't cold in September when we were at the Service Center and our Winder died. They installed a new Winder and the new one seems to operate much quieter and smoother. Only time will tell.
