Possible West Coast Rally?

On Redwoods Facebook page they had a post about the Success of the recent Rally. I replied we need one on the West Coast, see the screenshot for their response!

Yes they have been expressing interest in doing regional rallies. I expect this is what they are talking about.

That would be super cool... but not at the parks we have stayed at there... talk about NOT big rig friendly!! LOL! There must be something there that would work. Worth considering. They would look so majestic among those beautiful, gigantic trees. Great place.

Hmmm. let's see. I have always thought that the graphic on the nosecone is actually a Sequoia tree which is near Yosemite in Eastern California, and they are shorter and very wide-bodied. Redwoods look much more traditional (on the California Coast) like a tall fir tree they are more TALL. Even more confusing: they are both "redwoods" just different types. :-) Little greenie trivia there.

Well OK, we'll rally at your Campground romanylife, and drive down to the Redwoods

We took off for a 2 week vacation with the kids a few years back and when they asked where we were going I said we are on a mission to find the mountains on the front of our Montana - I'm not totally convinced we found them but close maybe! and what a wonderful family vacation! no pre-plan, just off we go!

haha Brad! As awesome as that sounds, our ONE RW barely fits in our park! LOL! It adds 5 years to my life every time we bring it in here. I know what you mean about spontaneous trips... That is our favorite kind. More difficult with the big RW. We do that with the Lance. We take off for 30 days and just hit the road and just go where the wind blows us. It's incredible and feels like I could do it for the rest of my life. Beautiful times. We can rally at a great place NEAR here, how about that?

There aren't many trees here, but they have plenty of sites for a rally. Would love to participate but heading in the wrong direction in a couple of weeks.

Brad

Your border shot look like it's off the beaten path. I'm a Montana native, but don't know where that is.

I think one in the Denver area would be well attended.
