Today one of my landing pads fell off while driving. Thankfully no one was injured and nothing damaged. The pad is held on by a bolt underneath that screws directly into the bottom end of the jack (hydraulic ram). I tried all five others and they were loose too, so I am going to locktite them into place. It requires a 15/16” socket to tighten the bolts, and this will be on my regular maintenance check from now on.

Chris Lee, thanks for the information. Checked mine this morning and the two middle jack pads were real loose. Ended up tightening all six. This is kind of information that needs to be posted.

Did you find that the landing pads were actually loose and floating when you raised the landing gear? I just took our 36RL out of storage yesterday andchecked the pads for tightness and they are tight as can be. This is good information and something to add to the periodic check list.
