Searching For: Redwood, model 34SK

Not sure, but this model may have only been made in 2012. I've looked at the 31SL, but I think the placement of the entertainment center is extremely awkward, unless one enjoys turning 45 degrees in a seat to watch TV.

Not sure why Redwood eliminated the 34SK because the wife and I really like that setup better than the 31SL. For your information though, our 31SL has an entertainment center on the back wall and the tv is on a mount that pulls away from the wall and it can be swiveled which makes watching it from the recliners much easier. Not sure if the new raising tv in the newer 31SL can be swiveled to face the recliners.

Rick and Mindy have a 2013 31SL and their TV will tilt out at an angle from the entertainment center. Anyone know if the newer pop-up TVs in the 31SL do that?

We too still really like our 34SK. Like the closet and storage that is behind the entertainment center just off the entry door. Ours is a 2013 and I think they stopped making them after that year. I asked Tom (Redwood GM at the time) why they stopped making the 34 SK and he said they tried replace the lowest selling model each year?? Different strokes for different folks.

Personally, my wife and I would prefer that Redwood offer the 31SL with the similar entertainment center as the 36RL. We don't want the larger fifth wheel but we love the tv directly across from the recliners and we miss the large rear picture window. Everything else in the 31SL could stay the same, just relocate the tv to where the sofa is and place the sofa where the tv is. If we decide to replace the 31SL we will be looking at a different manufacturer because of this. Redwood surely knows that not everyone wants a 36-42 ft fifth wheel, but yet, out of all their models, only one is shorter than 36 ft.

I have the 2017 31SL with the pop-up TV in the back. It does not swivel.

We move the recliners slightly and do not find the angle much of a problem. The TV is 53" and very visible from just about anywhere.

We absolutely love the large rear window! And having the recliners and the couch face each other is nice when people come over.

I guess that is why they build so many different models. Everyone has their preference. No complaints from us! We love our 31SL. BTW the changes in the kitchen storage for 2017 is a huge improvement.

I agree on the length of Redwoods. The 34SK was listed at 36'11" but measures a little over 39' from nose to back of ladder. The size is great for us and really do not want one longer. We would miss the loss of the entry closet in the 31SL. I have wondered why Redwood does not offer a replacement size for the 34SK.

My wife and I have a 34SK we orderd in 2012 from a dealer in MA. Unit was shipped in July of 2012 but called a 2013. We love the unit floor plan and unit as it will be set up on our site we own at Hilton Head Harber RV Resort Set up for the tv an heater is why we ordered it. The center island is something to getting used to as it is one way.(good counter space). This is our fourth 5th. I am a retired RV tech with30 years at a dealership in Mass. You will never be happy with any unit. The only problem I had was the lite over the island was wired wrong. Great unit. Glad we have it.

I should have added,I just sold my tow truck(2010 f350) as I will not be living in New England next year. Pulled unit three times from NE to SC, but the gas got to high. I stored unit for three years in Bluffton SC and towed unit to site 10 miles away each time we went down there.
