not 100% sure, I just don't have a service center near by to have them cut a hole and install vent.
I only move my RW maybe twice a year.

Have not heard any good things about the ventless dryers. Putting the hole in the side is not hard and is marked where to put the hole at least in ours it was. We had a whirlpool set in our last MH and I liked them much better than the Splendid set we have in the RW. There are many Threads on the W/D sets you can look over.

Maybe a mobile tech could do it?

We added the W/D also on our FL and I decided not to put the vent in for now. For the amount we use it, I decided just to ad the inside wet trap and open the bathroom roof vent when we use it and have had no problems. If we were full time or much more use I would ad the wall vent.
It is marked on most models.

We installed the Whirlpool W/D sets in our FL and we are very satisfied with them.
We are fulltimers and they get used regularly.

Yes definitely go with household units, the all-in-ones tend to break down and take forever to dry. Home Depot has a small Magic Chef 2.6 cu. ft. dryer for around $240 and you can add the ventless lint filter to it for $10 from any true value hardware store. No need to drill any holes. Home Depot also has a Magic Chef 1.6 cu. ft. washer that does the job for washing for about $250.

We have a Whirlpool 3.6 washer and the 2.6 Magic chef dryer. The dryer has a 3 inch vent. Since we have a 39MB I did not drill the vent hole in the side. I ran the flex-able vent tube down, inside the wall behind the shower, then under the shower(lots of wasted space under it) and down into the compartment for the left propane tank. So far it works great. Figured if that did not work then I would drill the hole.

Could I get some models of washer and dryer please I'm going to start looking on Saturday . Seems like the tightes spot is between the sink in the bathroom and the closet where the go. And for the sounds of it I need to drill hole and vent to the outside. I looked for marks to drill nothing there.

We have a 36RL and my wife and I installed a maytag washer and dryer and the slide out had a hard time coming in. Once we removed the washer, the slide out pulled in just fine. I wonder if it was too heavy. We would like a new washer that is a little lighter than the maytag. I even took it to Explorer USA to have them look at it but still nothing. We gave up on the maytag.

Any idea what the maytag weighed? The Splendide Aristons are Washer 147, dryer 67.

You might make sure that Schwintek slide mechanism is lubed as well. They can really slow down when they are dry.

We full time and have the Splendide units (our dryer is vented). We are very satisfied with the models ...had for three years.

I went with Compact units that are made in Japan for small areas. Washer weighs 68 lbs, Dryer weighs 44 lbs. Both made by Sonya. Have had for 2 years now and work great. Tracy uses them almost daily.

I don't believe the weight of the washer/dryer is the issue because the clothes that would be hanging as well as the other stuff in the closet would equal the weight. I think your problem is going to be the track being too dry as Brad (aka Atom Ant) had said in an earlier post. That lubricant makes a big difference. Unfortunately most people with these units didn't understand the maintenance of these systems so the RV manufactures went back to the cable system. I believe that was a step backwards and within a few years they'll be finding the next "greatest" system.

Not that I am a big Schwintek Fan but I tend to agree.

Just walk around any CG and look at RVs with the Cable System and you will see a RV with a drooping / loose cable on the slides

Maybe the next generation slide system will be better that what is available today.
