We have owned ours for almost a year now and it has been problem free. I would buy another one! The problem that I see is how detailed the dealer does the PDI's. You get a good dealer that does their homework and you shouldn't have many problems. On the flip side of that is when you get a dealer that doesn't do anything but sell the RV then you are going to have problems. We traded in a DRV that had problems from day one and was never able to get help or get the issues resolved and after 2 years we sold it. Best thing I ever sold.....

We have had ours for over two years and had some minor issues. We had some of those same issues with other RV's we have owned. We RV with 4 other couples all of have different rigs from DRV to Montana's. we have had less issues then any of them in the two years.

We have had ours since April 2013, and have been very satisfied with the performance of ours. I along with others have been dissatisfied with the undercarriage and have been changing ours with upgraded components, but am completely happy with ours. Our major problems have been completely remedied by Redwood to our satisfaction, and I am thankful.

Ours will be five years old in November. Have had a few small issues, all handled well by either Redwood or the dealer. Like others, I have chosen to do suspension upgrades.
Redwood went through a couple of years of so-so management and quality control but I have to say that the team that is onboard now for the last year and a half or so is definitely heading in the right direction.
We were at the Tampa Show and short of spending a lot more $$$, I didn't see anything I liked as much as a Redwood.

I'd buy one again without hesitation.

I would have to agree with Vaughn, I walked the Tampa show and the current Redwood product impressed me.

I have been living fulltime in my Redwood for almost 3 years now, Redwood has really stepped up and taken care of any issues I have had to my complete satisfaction.

Someone started a Facebook page about their Redwood, then started having issues (That the dealer should have fixed no problem) and renamed it a problem site.

I checked it out last night to find the same handful of people complaining about the same issue every post.

I know plenty of folks who have other brands that would have a lot more to complain about than that.

Like I stated earlier, If you have a strong dealer, they will make any buying experience a good one, BUT . . . If they suck, then there is a chance you will be very unhappy with whatever brand you purchase.

To own a RV you, need to be fairly handy with tools & ,have very basic knowledge of electricity, propane, 12 volt systems, otherwise be VERY VERY patient while your rv is setting at a dealership for months waiting on them to replace a fuse. That's on ANY RV of ANY brand of ANY price & as stated above if your dealers service department sucks it will be a VERY bad experience regardless of how good of deal they made you on the sale.

+2 with what Danny said. If you don't know which end of the screwdriver to use, owning an RV will be a very expensive and frustrating process. There is ALWAYS something to fix whether it s a Prevost or an entry level little 18' TT.
