2013 36rl
I am selling my 36RL, asking $39,000.00. She is in real good condition outside, waxed twice a year & I have added many upgrades. It has disc brakes, Liberty Rider suspension w/ shocks, removed all carpet installed vinyl flooring through out, four door elec/LP fridge w/ice maker, Sailun 637 G rated tires, full axle alignment in 19', satellite dish on roof, new roof installed fall of 19' and 5500 watt LP gen. 42" Sony in Living room, 20" LCD in bedroom. Great floorplan, tires have 70% tread left, Goodyear "G" rated spare tire, converted all lighting to LED's, new "Solid Steps" by LCI, everything works as it should, all manuals for components. electronic door lock, Tyvek cover. I will include "Anderson Ultimate Hitch" with the deal, a $1200.00 option.

A quick question - we are redoing our flooring on our 36RL. What did you use to trim out the edge of the dining table slide flooring?

The 36RL is a bit pin heavy. Ours was about 3450 before we went fulltime. We’re heavier than that now. It can be towed by a SRW 3500 but only barely and you probably will be overweight on truck rear axle and tires.

I'm sure with the 2500 you don't have enough truck! Most Redwoods weigh in beyond the payloads of 3/4 ton trucks, typically most are in the 3500 dually range, at minimum the 3500. Probably not what you wanted to hear!!

I kind of thought so. My dilemma is this. My 07 GMC 2500HD is in pristine condition. I'm the original owner of this truck. And, it only has 90,000 miles on it. It's gonna be awful hard to let it go. But, I know we need a bigger truck.

Or smaller RV!
Fortunately you didn't do as a lot of folks have buying the the truck then wanting the big RV only then finding out they don't have enough truck.
I have good friends towing a 36RL full-time with a 3500 SRW SB CC & have had good luck, but a 2500, no way.

We have been hauling a 39' Landmark Pinehurst around for the past 3 years without any issue. But we want to upgrade to a newer year. The ones we are looking at seem much heavier though.

Mike - first thing is, on any of these big fifth wheels, forget brochure and “factory weights”. Pies in the sky and you’ll never see a unit that weighs that little.
My 36RL left the factory at 14,110 dry weight. Mine was built from the factory with the, at the time optional, 8000 lb axles. My listed GVWR is 17,500. When I bought it, I had a F350 SRW CC SB with 11,500 gvwr that I figured I’d be fine with. Towed it “ok” but never had that warm fuzzy. Finally got a chance to weigh rig and about fell over. I was almost 1300 lbs overweight on truck rear axle and tires.
A very nice, 10 month old truck got traded for a Dually the next week. Night and day difference in towing and stability and we’ve never looked back. Would like to have a Freightliner Sportchassis but $$$ don’t allow. Lol

Like you I got rid of a perfectly good 3500 sew that was like brand new when we got our RL. Scaled was 4200lb pin.
Ended up with a new dually

I used a matching "Stair nose" trim piece...worked out nice. Rounded nose is easy on the feet & does not stick out so far as to cause a trip hazard...
