Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Met some people at the Redwood Rally that had their entire fiber glass side destroyed by an exploding tire so decided to go for a TPMS.

Made a lot of research and found the TST (Truck System Technologies) system with the number 507RV.

http://tsttruck.com/product/507-starter-system-kit/

Got the main unit, ten sensors and a repeater.

We have rubber valve stems on the truck so decided for the lighter non flow through sensors.

The 507 offers sensors that you can replace the batteries and we think that is smarter. Repeater really not needed but for $53 extra we decided to go for it.

All reviews we read said TST has exceptional service and that is true!

We did some trouble shooting over the phone and realized that the main unit was not working properly. TST had a new one shipped out and we had it within 36 hours!

New one worked perfect and the system is highly recommended.

Nice to know if one out of our ten tires is getting to warm or looses pressure.

Easy to mount head unit and programming takes 3 minutes.

Buy direct from them - you really get good service!

Been using this same system for over two years...love it and it's saved me a couple of times!!
All the sensors are designed to be theft resistant, there is a special tool you use for the non-flowthru sensors, you use an allen wrench to secure the flow thru sensors.

We have four of the non-flowthru sensors and six of the flow thru, obviously the flowthru's are easier to fill/release air but the others aren't bad.

We have had the TST 507 System for 3 years now.
Great system, has saved us a couple of times.
Once in the Jacksonville FL area and once in the Phoenix AZ area.
Well worth the investment IMHO.

I have the TPMS tire monitoring system on my trailer. I just finished a 4100 mile trip and during this time I had all of the nuts that hold the valve stem into the rim come loose at least 3 times each. The monitor saved me as I tightened them all added air the day before pulling out and when we left the next morning 1 tire was at 45 lbs. I am going to take all 4 tires to a shop and have new valve stems installed. I am beginning to think that the weight of the monitors on the valve stem are the cause. Either that or they were not installed properly to begin with. Has anyone else had this issue

Thanks
I know there were others that had the valve stem nuts backing off but can't remember if they were running the sensors

I had one loose nut on the TV, but that was shortly after new tires and those valve stems installed, but nothing since.

I also have all 10 sensors & the truck spare is the only one I've had problem with, but it hasn't been on the ground since the new stems were installed so I think they messed it up installing it to begin with, swapped it & no problem since
