RAM 6.7 (Late Model Owners) Fleetguard Filters

Wanted to share some information with the RAM owners on site with late model 6.7 owners. I am firing the dealer on doing maintenance and wanted to share the fact that if you are near a Cummins facility they have what appears to be better prices than I have found on most of the filters. They are definitely cheaper than buying them from your Dodge dealer All of the below are Fleetguard filters that are manufactured by Cummins. Please note to the best of my knowledge they make most of the ones that are relabeled as MOPAR.

Large water separator fuel filter FS53000 - $65
Small fuel filter - FS43255 - $46.15
Regular oil filter - LF3972 - $11.65
Upgraded oil filter (Stratapore) - LF16035 - $19.10
Air Filter - AF27684 - $35.78

Below is a link to the upgraded filter. I am going to start using them.

I use Geno's Garage for all my filters and parts. Since I do all my own maintenance, they are cheaper and offer some really good package deals. Might check them out to see if the deals are any better or worse.

For what I purchased today I would have spent about $4 dollars more at Geno's and had to wait on delivery. I was just sharing as I was surprised at their prices and they are located only about 2 miles from where I work.

Wonder how the Cummins places are on actually installing the fuel filters and doing oil changes? Do they post their prices?

When you say, "Cummins places", do you mean a Cummins distributor or a Dodge dealership or...?

Our local Cummins distributor's labor rate is $137.00 per hour. Now these rates are geographic specific but I'm sure most folks, regardless of where they live, do not take their Dodge P/Us to the local distributor for oil changes. The techs in these places are highly trained and I can assure you they don't spend their time doing oil changes.
