Purchase and Installation of Reese 25K lb Elite 5th Wheel

I have a 2013 GMC Denaili 1 Ton Dually with 8 foot bed and live in the Pittsburgh, PA area. We are about to purchase a Redwood 38RE if everything goes right. I am wanting to purchase a 25K lb. Reese Elite 5th Wheel Unit including the optional goose neck hitch. We will be using the 5th Wheel to tow our RW. (No intentions of modifying RW to goose neck.)

Any suggestions on a top notch Reese dealer/installer who is not a thief and that will stand behind the product and his work.

Thanks

I have the same truck & highly recommend the B&W turnover with the 25k companion fifth wheel hitch, works easily, & don't have to strain your back to take out, head removes & the rest can be lifted out.

Do you have any problem with the Companion 5th Wheel wearing the finish off of the truck bed? It seems that the unit would be prone to do that.

We have not had any problems with the finish in the bed, but ours has Duraliner in it

We use the Reese Elite 25K and it works well. Can't help with installation as we got the Ford hitch prep package, so it installs in the bed and is removed in seconds.

Have used B&W companion since 1999 with 0 problems and less wear on the paint than what shows up from everyday hauling.

Do not have any visible wear on bed, but I have sprayed on bed liner & all it shows is a dirty spot when hitch removed.

Rhilton284,

We have the Ford fifth-wheel prep and the Reese Eliite 25K. I had my Redwood dealer order and install it...works great & no problems.
