Even though mine aren't wireless, I still control them from the truck.

I just ordered this Flex air Pin Box from E Trailer, does anybody have one, if so how is the ride with it?
The Flex air pin box came in yesterday and Blanchard's RV is putting it on Tuesday. Does anybody know the torque on the pin box main bolts? I will get to try it out Saturday when we go to Cajun Palms Resort campground in Henderson, Louisiana.

Please post your feelings once you've towed with the FlexAir.
Talked to a DRV owner who went from a Real Demco on his old rig to the Tri-Glide on his new rig and he said the Air Bag was a big improvement, but the Tri-Glide section gave much more chucking than his Demco.
So I'm really thinking of switching from the Tri-Glide to the FlexAir. Wonder if Lippert with give a trade-in allowance?

Michelle - that's high on my list to ask if there is a Lippert Rep at the Rally next week. As far as I can see, the only difference is the lower jaw assembly.

And if you look on the Lippert site, the Tri-Glide is an OEM item only, not for sale to the general public. And the Lippert Tech I spoke to some time ago, thought the FlexAir would give a better ride.

I will post how it does after my Saturday trip to Lafayette, Louisiana. There is a section at the end of the I10 Whisky Bay bridge that is brutal.

If after traveling that stretch of I-10 & everything in every cabinet is not jumbled up then I'm putting the Flex on mine. Louisiana has the worst hiways we have ever traveled & Washington (PNW) is next.

On that stretch of I-10 in our last SOB, which at the time had the huge tube type TV mounted to a cabinet, when stopped for the night the TV still attached to cabinet top was laying on the couch hanging by the cable/power cords, fortunately it still worked. One horrible stretch of road!!!

The stretch near Slidell, La where I10, I12 and I59 come together before you cross over the Pearl River to Mississippi is equally bad.

I went over all the bumps in Lafayette, La on 1-10 and it was a 100% inprovement over just the Roto Pin Box the RW came with. I was able to use all 6 5\8th inch bolts as well.

Does yours only have 6 total bolts? Mine has 10.

I have 6 bolts on each side, I had to buy two bolts because my Roto flex that came with the RW only uses 5 on each side.

I took 10 out and put 10 back. There are 2 more holes that are misaligned enough that I didn't bother with them. They would need a drill bit run through them.

Best of all worlds. I just can't see spending the money for a complete new pin box when the only difference is the lower jaw and pin
Vaughn Do you have pictures of your updated Tri-Glide and $ to make the change

OK, has anyone changed from the Tri-Glide to the Flex-Air?????
I love the Air Bag, BUT the Glide does not work like a Demco unit. I would really consider changing if I thought it would get rid of the back and forth chucking of the Glide part.
I was trying to get Mor/ryde to add an Air Bag to their Pin Box, but nothing even on the drawing boards.

Just curious, why is everyone looking for a better pin box and not a better hitch?
