I went with a limited dually, all options, 3.73 and air ride. Granite/Black ext./interior.
Would you at least say a bag system is better than ordering without?
I want it to have factory warranty is all.
Yes it is better than nothing. I went the factory option so mine would be under warranty and I would also get credit for it if I ever sell. I would also order the cargo camera for hitching up the fifth wheel. I have a tri fold toneau cover and can still the hitch without a problem. Much easier than having a spotter or doing it blind.

For the die hard Chevy fans out there, have you seen the new Silverado's ?? I saw one parked today. After the comments about the new 2017 Fords this will make you wonder about the new changes. Kind of looks like the Canyon, but a little bigger.

I'm still waiting for GM to bring back the 4500/5500 series trucks.

Oh no! They were actually pretty good looking this year other than square fenders. I was admiring some in the campground last weekend, but that is pure awful.

WOW to me that's going backwards, GM was finally getting a truck that didn't look that bad but this thing sure is ugly!!!!

Wow, I thought that was a Ford F150 with different headlights. I've always loved the GM design, but that is definitely a step backwards.

Just remember that is a no option Chevy..... UGLY!!!! but the GMC's are purty!!. The Chevy's with all the options look OK.

I have a GMC 4500 and lets say it handles the weight perfect and always weighs in around 14,500 lbs. BUT only problem is it has a van nose with box so not going to tow the RW with it. Gas 6.0 is very impressive even when towing a dump trailer loaded.

I have to agree, not their best look. It's still better than the new F150s they look like Lego blocks with upside down headlights & the ugliest grill on any truck (cross between the old Dodges & Nissan). Question for you Ford guys, had several of the beer can F150s go by the last couple of days & noticed the ubolts on the rear diff were about 3-4" too long, what's that for?

Is this the Silverado people are commenting on? That picture is of a Colorado in post 62.

Had a buddy of mine who saw my GMC and loved it, got a quote on a 2016 Chevy version loaded, Diesel/Dually at $67K (Southern Calif.). Anyone price one or purchase one of these recently! My 2015 Denali was at $60K out the door, with ALL options.

That's for that 3000 pounds of payload, needs a little stretching room.

Nope, that's a bow tie on the front. Makes it a Colorado.

That's not a 2017 Silverado its a Canyon.

This is the '17 Silverado:
2017 Chevy Silverado Release date and Redesign, Specs

not many exterior changes

For the '17 HDs with the Duramax, there will be a functional Hood Scoop to actually supply outside air to the engine.

Hood scoop looks pretty cool, reminds me of the old days with my Pontiac Trans Am, Oldsmobile 442 and Chevy Super Sport with Ram Air / Cold Air intakes.
