you are right there Dave...

I did SAS (Statistical Analysis...) work for about 10 years and found that whomever was paying for the work would 'speculate' on what the results SHOULD be
If the results were not what they 'expected', they would ask for a new 'random' sample - meaning don't take a true random sample !

get a particular subset of the responses so they could get the results they wanted

As the saying goes "it's the luck of the draw" in my opinion. Been driving for over 50 years & have owned all of the "big three"........ fords, Chevys, & Dodges. All are good vehicles......... have had some problems with all of em at some point and also got/get good service out of them at the same time. Same can be said about RV's.

+2 Mike ~ as a lot of us have said ~ at this point in time, no manufacturer can afford to build a bad truck. Like you, at one point or another I've owned them all. probably would've had a GM Dually, because I loved my '06 Denali Pickup, but the Chevy and GMC dealers wanted blood and my first born on the trade. Ford dealer put the deal together for over $11k less . Have come to really like my Ford and would look at a Ram for the next one but $$$ have to enter into it also.

I wouldn't turn down a Laramie Longhorn if it was offered to me. It's tough working for one engine manufacturer and owning the competition!

Another company moving out of Illinois???? Especially away from the cesspool of Chicago. Illinois is quickly becoming " little California "

ISUZU helped GM start up a new Diesel manufacturing so they could get back in the "game" (GM's previous diesel was originally based on the 350 gas block) GM owns and builds the Duramax no more ISUZU
Now that the bugs have worked out it's an excellent diesel, from what I have been told, right now the Trans is what is holding up power improvements, it seems that the new Ford Trans will handle the most power
