Trust has to be earned.......I'll let others test this before I jump on the band wagon. According to Lippert the Tr-Glide was the answer to all problems.

Dave, while true I think Lippert has changed their mind and now the FlexAir is the greatest thing since sliced bread. On their site if you're looking to upgrade a pin box, a retail customer can't order the Tri-Glide only the Roto-Flex or FlexAir.
I wonder if you worked through a dealer if you could order the FlexAir lower jaw as they might sell to a Dealer but not a Retail Customer.

Michelle you might be right. I'll be eager to learn how the new hitches hold up in "real world" testing. My Tri-glide was at first wonderful but I don't think it's as good as it used to be. It doesn't seem to help with the "tug of war" with the trailer as it used to. I really wonder if I bent it by tugging too hard from a full stop.

Well .....you're right. We were on a ramp at a complete stop in a construction zone during rush hour traffic in Oklahoma City. When I took off (to fit into a small window) I had the duals spinning and needless to say it was quite a jerk on the pin box. I really think I bent it because it kind of lost the gentle back and fourth movement after that. Ginny was on the phone with the office and after hearing her yell they thought we'd been in an accident. She said my "hold on" wasn't sufficient for the situation. I guess I'll have to yell something like "GRAB THE DASH BABY CAKES....CUS HERE WE GO" or something like that.

Dave.........Well, you did it again! I was in tears by the time I finished reading that.

Maybe you should stop by Lippert on one of your travels to have them evaluate if it has been damaged. You might get them to up-grade your pin box to the new Flex-air.

Well Guy......I can assure you, Ginny didn't think it was as funny at the time. She did correct me tonight though....she said it was one of our sons she was talking to during this incident and not the office.

You just need a big bungee cord Dave, so you can take off and let the Redwood catch up later

Maybe try the southern expression, "Hold my beer and watch this!".

Is that like when you lay a $20 bill on the passenger dashboard and say "if you can grab it, it's yours!"
