Maybe
My problem is the Curt hitch sits to low in the bed on its highest setting and combined with the king pin on the root flex being so close to the trailer

After putting my new lazy boy recliner and couch in, I weighted yesterday coming back from Buccaneer State Park. My pin box weight was 2,840, my drive axle was 12,180 with the total trailer weight of 15,020. I have a 18,000 lb B&W Companion hitch.

That's way too light! You need to take the checkbook to camping world and spend a day

Well i installed the equiflex and got rid of the rotoflex. I gained 6 inches more clearance with no air in the bag. This works out great as I can still lower my hitch up to 5" if need be. As it sits I would have 11" of bed clearance. One happy camper

I think he's referring to the new Flex Air pin box. It's a step above the tri glide.
It's the one all of us have been trying to get Lippert o sell the lower jaw so we can upgrade.

I do that all the time - Equa Flex is the Lippert/Trailair equalizer Redwood uses on the suspension. I think you replaced it with the Lippert/Trailair Center Point

Vaughan, why don't you just bite the bullit and change to the FlexAir, then you can report to the rest of us if it's really an improvement over the Tri-Glide!!

Sounds good Michelle. Can I count on you for 50% and then if mine works I'll repay you ??

The other one I'm looking seriously at is the MORyde Pin box and a comfort ride hitch

I'm in, but only if I can borrow that gold plated hitch Vaughan is looking at when I go to the family reunions! That thing would sure be something to gather around and drink beer over!

We have a Redwood 36 RL with 18,000 Tailair Triglide connecting to 24,000 Pullrite Superglide on our 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 Laramie with 3.73 gears and 6.7 Turbo Diesel, and we've had similar issues with gouges on drivers side box rail probably caused by Triglide extended. Pictures in my Album(BobH)

I have same problem on my GMC 4x4. On rare occasion I will gouge plastic rail trim on drivers side during near jacknife backups. I could probably prevent this by raising my Reese Elite hitch one notch, but hate to run the Redwood nose high.

"Advanced cellular technology" !?!
I thought we were talking hitches, not nuclear medicine

So, others have had the gouging too !
I thought it was just my combo of the pullrite sliding to the side, the extended tri-glide and the ludicrous mounting of the electrical box OUTSIDE the end of the tri-glide hitch, and the ford OEM bed cover that had a 2 inch velcro 'lip' above and inside the bed cover...

I need to make a decision soon on the hitch. I'm getting a '15 38GK TriGlide, loaded and will max out the GVWR. Truck is a 15 GMC 3500 HD DRW Duramax with a RollBAK bed slide cover. I am leaning towards the B&W 20k Companion but am open for suggestions for this setup.
