TN wildfires

Since I know a camping couple who was caught in that mess, I think it's topical for this Forum. I just read where two teenagers have been arrested and charged with aggravated arosn in those deadly TN wildfires. With all of the damage that was caused, how on earth do they determine how a fire like this was started, let alone trace it to an individual?

It's science
burn patterns... accelerants.... etc....

droughts, wind, and idiots do it !

There is NO amount of punishment that would make up for it IMHO.

I believe it was one of this years CA fires that burned many homes and businesses. They traced it back to a damaged outdoor electrical outlet, near someone's pool. A picture showed the receptacle partly out of the box and exposed to the environment over time. It shorted and started the massive fire. It burned in one direction away from the box.

What a shame......first thing they need to do is make sure these dimwits never reproduce. Then punish them for the lives lost or ruined due to their actions.

I think the work of arson investigators and the CIS folks is simply amazing. I think that's what I'll do in the afterlife.

This just a horrible tragedy for everyone! Those juveniles made a horrible mistake that they can NEVER EVER repay no matter the punishment.
Their parents are also going to be punished by losing their children to the judicial system, but will be sued by everyone that lost anything in this disaster, spending everything they have or ever will have in court battles. My thoughts & prayers go out to ALL in this horrible tragedy.
