I would say since your going 3/4 of the way , do the full Monte and add the 17.5's from Ron... You will never have to worry about the under side of the trailer for a LONG TIME...You will not regret the upgrades, you asked their return cost..... PRICELESS !!!!

The new H tires are on the list! Ron is in Elkhart? We've never been to Indiana so this is all new to this Texan!

Not to take business away from Ron, but MORryde does do 17.5 wheel and tire conversions. So you could get the IS, Disc Brakes, and Tires all in one stop. And depending on what you currently have for a King Pin, maybe even the MORryde Pin Box.

I'm thinking you called it! The full deal including the pin box while we are at MorRyde. Can you give me a ballpark on what we are looking at $ wise? Whatever it is will be worth it for my wife's peace of mind. Happy wife happy life!

When we were planning on getting it done, Vaughan (piperguy) advised us to plan to stay another day or so rather than run off, because once you test drive they may need to adjust the springs (replace the rubber sheer springs) if the ride is too rough or soft. If your Journey puts you somewhere else in a hurry, its hard to get it back in for adjustments.

We went up to South Haven MI after the IS install for the weekend. It's about a hundred miles away and a beautiful lakeside town. Also gives the suspension a good workout over interstates and two lanes.

When we got back, MorRyde decided the springs were a little stiff and changed them to a softer set. Took them all of about 2 hours. Can't say enough good about that company.

Also visit the RV Museum in Elkhart, Amish grocery store in Shipshewana, & tour the RW factory.

MORryde 8K IS and Kodiak disc package - $6400.00 give or take
MORryde Pin Box - $ 800.00
17.5 wheel & Tire combo - $2,500.00 +/- (goodyear)

I would figure in $10,000.00 to be safe.. My numbers are a bit old , but will get you in the ballpark. While your at it , ask MORryde for a cost on upgrading your bearings to the USA made Timkens... You may be able to get them to work out a good deal since you are doing everything...

The folks at MORryde are great to deal with , where else will you get a key for their facility doors so you can come and go when you please if staying in the trailer. . .
