Happy Thanksgiving to all !

An oldie but goodie to commemorate the occasion :

A young man named "John" received a parrot as a gift.

The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary.

Every sentence out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity.

John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to clean up the bird's vocabulary.
John was finally fed up, and he yelled at the parrot.

The parrot yelled back.

John shook the parrot, but the parrot just got angrier and even more rude.

In desperation, John threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer.

For a few minutes, the parrot squawked, kicked and screamed.

Then, suddenly, there was total quiet. Not a sound was heard for over a minute.
Fearing that he had seriously hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer.

The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arm and said, "I believe that I may have offended you with my rude language and bad attitude. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate actions. I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my unforgivable behavior."
John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude.

He asked the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in its behavior?

The bird answered in very soft tone, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

Hope everyone had a happy, and safe, Thanksgiving.

I had to loosen my belt and open the top botton on my jeans.

Happy T-day Weekend

Hope all got as much to eat as I did... Now to get around and think of ideas for the leftovers... Every year we struggle with what to do...

Oh the problems some folks have...

Best Wishes,

Bill n Diana

Hope you survived the Thanksgiving feast - and also that you winterized in time. It's freezing up here in Glastonbury, CT!
