Ford has to go to the shop

Well the old Ford has to visit the doctor when we get back home next week. Apparently I have a solenoid that is sticking in the transmission. It doesn't want to shift into first gear at stops. It appears that it sticks in 5th gear. The dealer said that they would get the old girl fixed when I get home.

I explained that the truck has been tuned and asked if that would void my warranty? He said that he didn't care if I was tractor pulling with it, these transmissions are covered.

That's a good dealer right there Dave. Mine is like that too. Had my 6.0 tuned with an SCT using Spartan tunes and never had any issues with dealer (or the tuned truck for that matter)

Dave, try removing your tuner and then give the tranny some time to do a relearn.
