Any other suggestions? I need to be in Ft. Worth for 30 days starting 11/14.

Again, depends on where in Fort Worth... it's spread out

If Pilot Knoll is too far, then I got nuthin' I like...

If you are just looking for bare essentials, there's some on I-35 south of town (Yogi Bear)
but if you have to get to the north end of town u r talking an hour traffic jam

In Arlington there is Treetops and a KOA (Meh )

give us a hint of where and we can help

It appears Pilot Knoll does not have sewer hookups?
I will be working the National Cutting Horse World Championship at The Will Rogers Complex.

I would highly recommend Treetops. A friend was just there this past week and there are 3 or 4 RW's there as well as a Blackwoods.

Spending the night at Pilot Knoll. Tomorrow is warranty day at Exploreusa, Denton, Tx. I will be going by Treetops and Sunset RV Park tomorrow to see what they are like as I will be spending 30-60 days in the area before mid Dec. May even go over to Oak Creek in Weatherford.

Pilot Knoll is a very nice campground. Site 42 was a back in that I could not get in. They moved me to a pull thru site. While the sites are not close together they have RR ties bordering the space they want you in. I will come back.

Might want to check out Northlake Village in Roanoke north of Ft Worth out close to the speedway, we've stayed several times. The park is neat & clean as well as their facilities, some sites are more spacious than others, but all in all not bad. There aren't any really nice parks in that area to recommend.

Rode by the vineyards this weekend...
and there were service trucks everywhere working on it...
from the viewing circle just to the east across the lake, you could SEE where all the grass died from being under water for so long.

But just talked to the Vineyards they are starting to take reservations again for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving...

but Ron, that would be a pretty long drive during rush hour from Grapevine to Fort Worth... only 28 miles, but depending on the time of day may be 30 or 90 minutes

I am at Treetops in Arlington. Not bad at all. Very large sites.
Still 60 min to Market Hall.

Yes, we were with others there Wednesday and evacuated from sites 11 and 12 on Sat afternoon when they shut down the sewer and said they couldn't guarantee electricity
We had already decided to leave when we watched the water walk up the boat ramp toward our sites and cover the trees as it came !!! When the floating dock starting pointing UP, we decided to it was time.

Glad we did as it is a watershed for miles and miles of the dfw area and 1 inch of rain made the lake rise 1 foot! and it rained ALL night.
