The Journey Begins

Well it finally happened Nov 20th, Karen and myself said our goodbyes to family and co-workers, we left Va, on the 22nd, and headed for Titusville Fl , Great American Outdoors.
Had a wonderful thanksgiving with our son and his wife on Merritt Island FL, and now just trying to figure out where to stay as we look around for a place to light for the winter months.
Notice that several Redwoods are here at Great American, any info on places to stay.
Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving may God bless and keep everyone safe, especially our military and all who serve us police, firemen & rescue.

We were in Rockport, TX last winter and found plenty to keep us going between Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi. This year we'll be going to Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Have a good time on your adventure. We have spent winters months in the RGV, Rocport, and Gulf Shores, Al. Going to try Az. this year.

We will be staying in Casa Grande at the Palm Creek Golf and RV resort. I don't golf but a friend recommended it to us so we are going to try it. From their website it looks like a nice place with lots to do if you desire.

Bruce, it is very nice, we drove through it looking around last week, it's also very big, bring bicycles or golf cart.

We are east of Casa Grande 30-45 minutes in Florence at Desert Gardens Rv Resort, much smaller park & very desert like, but nice.
