It started on the very top of the engine ( 2013 6.7 ).. They had some PM work done 2 weeks earlier , and think a fuel line was loose near the filter. Their insurance is not paying for a full investigation due to the fact that the damage was too severe . They have since been reimbursed and purchased a new truck , and waiting for the new camper to arrive. Both Jim and his wife along with their dogs all got out safely!

That fire could happen to any make.
I have to say that I am very impressed with Superduty's setup.... Only dropped 5/8" when all weight was on it so let's keep all the opinions to yourself on this thread.

Stopped at Crossroads RV Park in Lyndon, KS today to get propane tank filled. There is a black and maroon Redwood there from South Dakota.

Just pulled into Lazy Days in Tampa and 3 Redwoods side by side and all 2014's.
That's a first except the rally.

Yesterday we saw a Redwood pulled by a late model GMC going west through Cody, WY. First a Redwood we've seen on the road since we began traveling in August.

Haven't seen very many RW's on our trip then pulled into EZ Daze RV park in Memphis and there were 4  Two look like they are long term residents.

saw a redwood pass our rv park around 9am heading north on the 103 in Long beach WA. looked like a 36ft.

Just had another RW pull in to Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone. Had a really nice visit and we'll be exploring the park together tomorrow. They have not been active on the forums but may get interested.
