I'm not advicating foreign competition in the RV industry but this made me think about the American auto industry that put out shoddy products until they were kicked in the -utt by the Japanese in the early '70's which FORCED them to put out a reliable product to compete.

Saw a new style black & tan following a dark gray Ford in American RV park in Albuquerque, but unfortunately didn't get to make contact with them.

PA41 at US30

I spotted my first full body paint Redwood today on PA 41 just south of US 30. It was being towed by a Ford SRW. We were towing our KZ Durango Gold, I waved as we passed. Looked good as much of the glimpse I saw going the other way.

We were in Altoona IA, just outside Des Moines, last week and met Windigo. We are now in Emporia KS and there was another RW in the CG but unfortunately we did not get to meet them before they pulled out.

We were heading to Ft Myers FL today from Disney's Fort Wilderness, spotted a Redwood as we were getting off I4 onto I75 in Tampa.
Did not see any Redwoods during our week long stay at Fort Wilderness.

Started our move from Ft Myers FL to Dallas TX yesterday, saw two Redwoods at different locations heading South on I-75.
We got off I-75 and on I-10 and made it to Madison FL yesterday for a overnight pull thru last night.
We will continue heading West on I-10 today, stopping in Milton FL (Pensacola FL area) for a couple of days to see family before heading West again on Monday.
Keeping a eye on the weather / hurricane remnants in Texas before we head out on Monday.

It's heading your way Robert! It should clear out by Wednesday in TX. We're in the middle of it on the coast and so far, we haven't floated away. It should end the drought in this area for sure.

Robert, talked to my dad in Granbury this morning & said they had 8" of rain, but moving out in the afternoon. Eastern parts of Texas got hammered especially around Corsicana & in the Rio Grande valley. You should be good by Monday.

We have decided to sit tight here in Milton FL (Pensacola area) till Tuesday and let this rain and wind move on though rather than driving through it all day today.
Should be a better trip to Dallas TX tomorrow
