Well ,
Another Holiday is here , how may of us venture out as weekend warriors and brave the campgrounds ? And where are you going ??

Took some T-316 marine grade 1"OD stainless tube and made the rack...
Not many choices to haul 10'6' boards on fivers.....

Over here on the West Coast, if you didn't make reservations 9 months ago, you ain't camping on this holiday weekend! We have a serious OVER CROWDING of parks over here. I hope it's not as bad when we hit the road. Really frustrating. There must not be any money in owning an RV park, because with RV sales up so much, you would think more would be in the works. No such luck.

At the park we usually hit on Holidays , we used to HAVE to book it 7 months in advance.. NOW it is 1 year in advance..
and if you don't do it , getting a site within a few months before just will not happen..
Heck.. July 4th of next year is almost booked solid already

Actually, we're staying put this Labor Day, but come next Thursday we're headed to
Cuba with the RW........................Cuba, New York that is. Good Sam Chapter campout.

Must be Golden Spike RV park, we stay there twice a year on our way to and from AZ. Nice quiet park.

We are staying at Cherry Hill Park CG in College Park, MD (Washington DC area) through the Labor Day weekend, we move to Stone Mountain CG / Atlanta GA next Friday on 9/11.

Going to spend a week down in Albuquerque, NM. Hate the thought of having to pack away my RW for the winter. No rubbing it in from you southern guys that can camp all year

Char - great place, some sites a little tight but if you get one of the pull-thru ones they are big. Nice people and very easy to get into DC They even have a shuttle over to College Park Metro

We are on the end of the Premium Pull Thru Row where there are two long back in sites.
We have good space on our site but some of the Pull Thurs are real tight with their awning almost touching their neighbor.
That is one thing I found out on one of our previous stays is there are lot of the back in sites that are quite short and will not fit a 40 + foot 5th Wheel very well.

We will be stopping at Pioneer Village RV Park, Max Meadows, VA next weekend for a couple of nights on the way to Stone Mountain near Atlanta 
Our site here is booked next weekend so we have to leave on Friday and fight the DC traffic but at least we are not going down I-95

We are currently in Edmonton Alberta at a balmy 43 degrees. We will be heading to Penticton BC on tues morning and spending a week there before heading back south down the oregon coast
