Campground List ect.??

Maybe this has been suggested or maybe it's even here somewhere that I have not found?
I got to thinking tonight after reading many suggestions on campgrounds and would it be a good idea to have a Campground topic all in one place?

I'm not interested in someone complaining about a CG but just recommendations from Redwood owners or previous Redwood owners letting us know they can accommodate our size. Pull trough's or back ins. ect. Just a list with some details if we should pull in or not.
Are they RW friendly or should we move on to the next town.
Might be a great help to some of us less seasoned travelers.
Good for overnight or maybe a nice extended stay. What's in the area an so on.

I can find them all over the site but thinking if all were in a state by state list it would be helpful.

I think that would be a great idea. That is one of the reasons we don't stay in CGs while traveling. Always worried either the access roads, campground roads or the CGs sites are not Redwood friendly.

Are you wanting the names/locations of parks or just a good source of finding them? There are lots of resources for finding, but some that say "big rig friendly" have a different idea of "big" than I actually have.

This is really a good idea. Our last RV was a 30 ft bumper pull with a couple of slides. Our truck is a 4 door long bed dully. We pretty much had to be careful that we didn't pull into a park that couldn't accommodate our rig. Also a concern was getting into a place that would be hard to get out of. With the RW that is even more a concern.

I have all of the apps mentioned here. But with the size of the RW, we're pretty much all in the same boat and would have the same size needs. It would be great not to have to sift through all the info in the apps that are available. Also as said here, their big rig friendly might not fit our big rig.

Paul B Johnson State Park

Visiting good friends, Joel & Janis in Hattiesburg, MS. This park has full hookups, 50 amp. Many spots big enough for my 38GK. There are a lot of blind side back ins. Weather is nasty today hopefully it clears during our visit.
