Whirlpool Microwave

Anyone who has a Redwood with the Whirlpool Microwave/Convection oven?

Wanting to know if you all secure the Microwave Door with something to prevent the Glass Microwave Plate from Flying Out going down the road.

We broke our plate the first time out and have since secured the door with a small bungee cord. Works fine, however, the Glass Plate still come loose in the microwave while traveling. Hasn't broken yet. Just looking for some ideas others are using.

I could always take it out and store it too. But, I have to remember to do it.

Thanks for your replies.

Wife wraps it in a towel and leaves it in. Haven't had it come out yet

We've put over 85K miles on between our '10 Montana, '12 Redwood RL, and our '16 MB and have never had a Microwave/Convection Oven door open or any problems with it's plate. Once in a while the plate may just off it's track, but that's it.
Now for the disclaimer: All three units were running the Mor/ryde IS System.
