these that we got are very good quality, very THICK brass, and clear coated. ONE thing I have noticed is that they DO have the little tabs that stick up to open and close the vent below (which is nice) but it is annoying and I have tagged my feet on them more than once. SO they have to come off somehow. Hopefully that won't be a big deal. Otherwise, we LOVE them.

It's been a few months since I have added anything the RW and it was time today. The backsplash material from RW is actually a nice product but what I hated about it was it had one piece behind the stove and one piece to the left with nothing around the window. You can see this in my before pick.
Welllll.... it had to go and installed a ceramic with crushed glass.
Now I am happy with the splash. Onto the next project!

If your buying tile for flooring try to avoid the big box stores as it is not the same. Since this is not being walked on Yes I did get it at HD. Not cheap even there but looks great!

Dealing with about 15" of snow here and still coming down so working on the RW again. We may have the first FL with an island. Took out the table and chairs along with the dog cage I had made last year and built this. Will just have two bar stools. Granite top is ordered so won't have a finished picture for a few weeks.

That's really great looking ! With the FL, will you be able to walk around it with the slides in ?

Joe,
Can't walk around it when kitchen slide is closed but can still get to sink and open one door on the fridge so should be fine. I do have to get the electrical to it and I'm sure the water tank is right under it so that will be a project.

Steve,

Calling it a project, may be an understatement...

You and Char will have the most unique FL on the road. ! I can't wait to see the finished project.

Nice work

I am curious about the use of the lower, ventilated section. Dare I ask?

Yes... it is for our small dogs. They are fine in the RV but we put them in there at night. They are used to it at home so this is there little home. The two lower doors on the cabinet side open up for easy cleaning.

Ingenious! I wouldn't have guess that - thought it was for return air or something.

Spent the day outside tinkering since it was 71..... had minor grease spinning on the outside of 1 wheel, jacked it up and removed the wheel to find the screw on cap was very loose, so the o-ring was not working... Replaced it.

Opened it up and let it air out for the day..

Exercised the Onan for 45 minutes..

Installed the side duct for the Onan ( Thanks Wayne ! )

And made a custom flag pole holder for the front.
