We had a chance to use our awning led's last week and they are a nice SOFT but bright light....

the only issues I had were how SLOW the awnings deploy and retract... and the BUGS

Since we were on a lake the bugs LOVED the lights and the birds LOVED the bugs - so opted for some light on the patio table away from the rv door

and the winds would come up all of a sudden and there was mini panic by the wife to get the awnings in... her first time with these awnings and it must have billowed while she was rolling it in (60 to 90 seconds) and it left half a roll or two not rolled on only one end --- noticed it later - had to extend and pull one end out manually since it was bound up in the fabric...

but straightened out ok and still works as before !

Ya I've had mine rolling up while the wind was holding the fabric up on the roof! For me I have to go with the gusts like working the waves and retract-pause-retract.
