B. C. thanks for an excellent report and great pics. Better than any text directions and easy to follow. Ron and I are going to hook up in AZ in 2-3 weeks I think to retrofit our 2013 36RL. You've given a lot of clarity to the job upcoming. Thank you so much.

Jim

Thanks for posting the pics and documentary of the install. This will help others that are capable of doing it themselves. I have the Titan setup on mine and your will be very pleased with it

You have ripped them off before, I suggest you leave them alone this time. Made me laugh!

Yea Ron I figured you would get a kick out of that!! There is 1 HUGE difference.....
The ones I wanted and DID rip off did not work...

The Titans are the best thing I have ever added to a trailer!!

Hey Ron - By the way ...

My neighbor has a 15 Cedar Creek that he wants to add discs to.. We were chatting and at some point in the next 6 months he wants to do it. He was easily Persuaded into the Titan kit... Can I assume that you offer that complete kit for a 34' Cedar Creek fifth wheel...

Yes, the Cedar Creek is an 8 hole wheel. All 8 hole wheel disc kits are the same price.
$1750. There are differences between stud size, brackets, etc. but all are a 13" Hub/Rotor assembly so all are priced the same.

I took the 5th wheel out last week to test the brakes, as I started pulling out of the driveway, I realized that the brakes weren't working with the brake controller (they worked when the emergency brake is pulled). Just then Titan Guy called, he suggested that I had wired the emergency brake line in-correctly. I opened the junction box and switched some wires. The brown wire supplied with the kit needed to connected to the black wire (switch side) from the emergency brake. I had it them both in with the blue brake wire. After making that change, it worked perfectly!

Titan Guy also recommended that I move the brackets for the rubber flex lines out to the frame. This will give the rubber flex lines more slack as the suspension moves. These flex lines will get wrapped with a piece of tubing and zip tied back, so they can't rub on the tires or suspension.

I have to say, braking is much improved. While testing, I dialed the Ram factory brake controller back from 10 down to 7.5. I often found myself stopping about 50 ft from an intersection and having to drive up to the stop sign. Big difference from almost rolling through the stop signs!
