Thank goodness for this owners forum, or I never would have known about this fix. Thank you for posting it in the first place. Maybe we will meet someday in our travels.
Amazing! Would be great to meet someday! So glad this will be taken care of, it's working great for me!

Finally got out to the Redwood today. We have the bar installed on the wall above the Residential Fridge, although it is not padded. Sorry, I totally forgot to check for the clips.

Thats OK. Thanks Steve and Linda. B Young RV has gotten the OK from Redwood to put the Tiffin style latches on the refrigerator doors, the latch on the freezer drawer to keep it from coming open and install the carpeted fix for the top of the frig that keeps it from falling forward. Woot, Woot !!!!!! It goes in July 7th for all of this, then she will be all better and ready to roll.

Glad to hear this! I am sure REDWOOD is getting tired of replacing dented refrigerator doors!! I can't imagine the chaos INSIDE the refrigerator if it is allowed to tip out 8 inches on every left turn! YIKES!!! That could mean broken pickle jars, for sure, if not worse! And thanks to BLUE DOGS for being the Pioneer at B. Young!!

Checked Sunday, no clips on fridge doors. Must be dealer only add-on.

It is a dealer add on. It keeps the refrigerator door from opening during travel.

UPDATE. B young RV installed the fix for the refrigerator door, the freezer door and the fix to keep the frig from tipping forward while in transit. All covered under Redwood warranty. Redwood is going to use B Young RV's fixes as standard in their new models with the residential French Door refrigerators. Happy to say the set of fixes works like a charm !!!!!! Thank you all for your input and help you are the BEST !!!!!!!

We bought our unit at Lazy Days in Tampa, FL We noticed these locks on Moterhome units and asked were we could purchase them for our unit and they sold them to me for $50 each lock. We have over 4000 miles on our unit going cross county and they work great.001.jpg002.jpg

Atom Ant - where did you find the dreaded plastic clips that keep breaking on your trash can drawer? Ours is broken and I can't seem to find it to replace it.

I just had mine fixed under warranty. I think I will buy a gross of them because they break a LOT but they are a good fastener, if you can keep them from breaking! They DO keep things CLOSED while underway.

I got mine at Camping Worild if this is what you have. I found brown in the store. They aren't cheap by any means. I break the one on the bedroom closet about once a month.
