Hello All! I am new to these forums and have been considering The redwood for our full-time rig, we are still about 2 years from go time but we are doing our homework and have been for 2 years all ready ,now my question.....Does Redwood install Residential fridges instead of the Dometic/Norcold? We have a Norcold in our Winnebago Adventurer MH and if we are going to full time I refuse to have one of those fridges in it , we have looked at the redwood and love them but no residential fridge will be a deal killer

No residential fridge, sorry. Part of the problem would be finding the battery space to support that large of an inverter. I guess if you opted not to have a genny or gen prep, you could fill that compartment with batteries,

according to my calculation 2 extra batteries would give me 4 to 6 hours of power and as I would only use them while in transit, resi fridge stays cooler longer and doesn't take as long as rv fridges to ramp upto getcold, and we will not be doing anymore than 6 to 8 hours of travel at any one time, also when we become full-timers we won't be moving around much, we have sent Redwood E-mail reguarding this issue we will wait and see what kind of response we get, perhaps in the future they will be doing it if the demand is there
