Straying off topic has been a problem with every forum ever started and will most likely continue unless an admin or forum moderator deletes or moves a off topic post.
This post, for example, is off topic because I am responding to a statement made in the previous post. That post started out on topic then strayed at the end... see how easily it happens?

Back to the topic. Forming a club is more talk and preliminary planning right now than actual implementation of said plans. Months of groundwork needs to be done before something like this can go live so even though the membership numbers don't support the formation of a club right now, they soon could.
Another thing to remember is that joining the club would be optional. If you don't want to join, don't. No one will pressure you or criticize you for your decision.
On that same note, if someone does decide to form or join an owner's club they need not feel like they are wasting their time or the time of other Redwood owners.
This topic is about the formation of a factory supported owner's club that will be beneficial to Redwood owners in a way that a discussion forum can't.

I agree with you. You have a way with words. Where you a teacher in your former life?

We are picking up our 36RL tomorrow ... so I figured this would be a nice time to release my demo web site!

So ... I created a concept Redwood Owners Club International web site ... FOR TESTING only.

This is strictly a "for concept" idea that could be taken into production on a real domain.

I snagged a bunch of info from the Forest River Owner's Group "FROG" as suggested.

If a few interested members would be so kind as to register/login give
it a look-see and make lots of recommendations, I could proceed to
revise and make it a credible demo.

If you think I am wasting my time ... please feel free to tell me so!

If you think we could turn this into something useful ... tell us so!

TP, great website. Are you willing to provide the particulars to REDWOOD, POC Alexandria Trusov? I will send you a private message regarding the Redwood Owners Club.
Thanks

Thanks for some sign ups and checking it out!
For sure I can share all the goodies and get something running on a permanent domain.

I'll email/PM COLJDM to get something moving ... I was a tad busy (and excited) going over all the stuff on the trailer this weekend ... plus hosted a sailing club brunch and church anniversary service and brunch ... busy, busy, busy. Had to go back to work today to take a break!

Hi,

I have mentioned before that I follow both the Redwood Forum and the Heartland Forum.

Well I just saw a video done by Jim Beletti, the "Director of Owners Interests" about the becoming a member of Heartland Owners Club. You can view it on YouTube .

It sure would be nice if Redwood would take a more active role in the Forum...

Keith

ALL, I queried Ms Trusov on the date of the Redwood Rally at their factory in August. She indicated they would have a firm date within a week or so. As soon as I get the information, I will post to the forum. My wife and I plan to attend that rally. Hope to see many Redwood owners there.

All, update on Redwood Forum info and Redwood rally in August

The rally is not just my decision. We have a couple of stakeholders. We are looking at the 24th – 26th of August. More when we finalize. (I am pressing for early next week.)
Â*
The current forum software does not allow for VIN authorization. We are looking at other options. Â*More to come on this as well. Thank you for your interest!

If that date holds, we won't be able to make it do to prior commitments, as Herman would say "Darn, darn, darn".
