Mods to our 38FL

We are now making our 38FL our home.

First mod was to move the recliners to our SOB Trade at the dealership and put our Lane Theater Seating unit it our Front Living RW.

We were concerned whether it would fit or not, but we got it in there.

The next mod was there are not enough towel bars in the bathroom.

There was a mirror on the wall by the rear entry door, we removed the mirror and placed 3 towel bars on the wall where the mirror was.

We moved the mirror to the bedroom over the dresser.

The theater seating unit comes apart in 3 pieces, each piece went in the door sideways pretty easy, I moved it from our SOB to our RW by myself

I used regular wood screws, guess we will see if they hold up, if not I will have to change to a different type of anchor.

I use 3m command strips, if it requires screws I put a strip on it also, so far in a year & half everything is still attached.

We use 3M Command Strips on most everything, guess I could not figure out how to attach the towel bars with the Command Strips.

We had all kinds of things attached with 3M Command Strips in our last 5th Wheel for 3 years and many miles of travel, never had anything come loose.

Towel bars are what I miss most on our 36 RL. Anyone add these to that unit and if so where? Thank you!

I meant I used the strips as well as the screws on the towel bar & other items that required screws just to take some of strain off the screws.

We have a 4 hook metal device that hangs over the bathroom door. We take it off the door while we travel and throw it on the bed. This keeps it from scratching the door.

We are in the 36FB there really aren't any location for towel bars so we put up 3M Command Hooks on the frame of the shower door.

for a hand towel we use an over the door hook.

We did the Command's on the door on the bathroom side. They work OK. I can't travel with the towels hanging or it will pull the hook off, but otherwise the seem to work.

I TRIED to do simple, but NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO...
she who must be obeyed wanted these from BB&B

Hang this on the inside of the bath door so when she opens it, it serves two purposes:
can hang all her towels within reach of the across the hall shower and blocks ANY shadows/view through the 38gk's pocket door's window...

We hung the command strip hooks in our shower so when we park our trailer at the coast we have places to let our swin clothes drain and dry off. We put one of the door hanger hooks for our bath towels

Oh yeah in our bonus room part I have super command hooks for our heavy jackets for deer season and beach towels for summer. Beth picked up mud mats for the hunting, ranch boots to put in the back room as well

Brad
Wipe all surfaces with alcohol prior to hanging hooks & will have much better sticking power.
John Boy
My DW didn't like the sliding door glass either, so she got some limo tint & covered all the glass in closet, cabinet, & pocket doors, looks very nice.

Ya I probably should have done that, didn't think of it. I do have one on the wallpaper next to the sink that has never come off.

I don't believe in wasting alcohol like this.
