Does anyone know if our leather furniture is bonded leather, faux leather, real leather, and most importantly, which products will best preserve it?

I'm sorry to tell you I don't know. When I fall asleep in those lounge chairs though, it feels like real leather.

We were told it is faux leather.

I'm pretty sure it's not real leather. If you look inside the cushion, you can see the seam edge edges. It does not have the look that is typical of leather. Ours is a 2014. I noticed that the old brochure says leather furniture but the new one does not. So maybe it depends on the year of your unit.

Just for fun I researched the French word FAUX... here are a few of the synonyms: artificial, bogus, dummy, ersatz, factitious, fake, false, imitation, imitative, man-made, mimic, mock, pretend, sham, simulated, substitute, synthetic



I get the impression that this material has never been near a cow! To clean it you may need to find a faux leather cleaner.
