Dyers has the SRE 4000 and HD Shackle / Wet Bolt kit for a combo price of $459.

I have bought from Dyers before, good service and fast shipping.

I did not have to change anything on the Frame Hangers, everything fit fine, all bolt on, easy installation.

Rob..............I should have asked you about this Mor/ryde question at the Rally but I got so tied up with my brake issue that I never thought about it.

Relative to the Mor/ryde SRE4000 equalizer and HD Shackle/Wet Bolt kit listed on Dyers...........is that $459. price for a kit per side of the trailer or does it include all the necessary parts to do both sides of the trailer? I don't see info on the Dyer's web site that clearly states what is included.

Thanks, Guy

Just ordered today myself. Kit does both sides. Should be a fun project

Got the equalizer and the wet bolt kit. Mine look pretty scary as is just looking at them so hope to get to it sometime. Have not had a day off since before Memorial day, so hope to get out when things slow down a bit

I just ordered my HD shackles from Makarios RV Parts for $75.88.. Oh yea , I ordered an extending swivel TV mount for my outside TV while I was in there...
morRyde HD Shackle kit # UO12-016 Tandem..Makarios SKU# 46-1880 $75.88

Not to sound stupid here but her it goes..... I see 2 part numbers for the SRE 4000... 1 for the 33" wheelbase and 1 for the 35" wheelbase... Is it as easy as measuring center of canter cap to center of center cap?? With my level up down , my wheelbase changes a bit..I'm know that because I put my Bal-X chocks in and once level ,they almost fell out from between the wheels....

Correct, the kit includes a complete setup for a Tandem Axle, two SRE 4000 Suspension Units, one X Factor Cross Member and the Wet Bolt Kit.

It is a fairly easy install, you will need a long pry bar to help line up things to get the bolts back in.

Gary Wheeler from MorRyde helped me with the worksheet, verificatiion and part numbers to get it right, the Redwood suspension uses the 33" unit.

The Lowering Shackles made a big difference on our GMC Truck, truck rode level and much more stable and very minimal bounce when entering and exiting bridges or rough sections of the highway.

Also between the slight lift of the Redwood height after the MorRyde install (about 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch) and slight lowering of our GMC after the lowering shackle install (about 1 inch 1 1/2 inch) I was able to increase the clearance between our truck bed and our Redwood but raising our hitch height by one position.

Picture after installation of Lowering Shackles on GMC and MorRide Suspension on Redwood

Rob, I just got off the phone with Dyer RV, he gave me a list to check to see if the SRE 4000 33" unit will work on my 2013 Redwood 36FB, are all the Redwood's the same?, he has your order info.

After following ALL the directions from Mor/Ryde , it was determined that I needed the 35" WB kit .

I worked with Gary Wheeler (Aftermarket Product Manager) at MorRyde and we determined we should be using the 33" SRE 4000 unit.

Just took this picture tonight, this is with our trailer leveled up at our current site in NY.
When the weight of the trailer is on the MorRyde unit, the shackles are almost straight up.
If it was a 35 inch unit, I thing they would be angled in which is not a good thing.
Also according to MorRyde you cannot use the SRE 4000 on a 8,000 axle.

To answer your question, all the different Redwood model axle mounts are the same.

Thanks Rob, I will be seeing Gary when I go full time to get the IS, for now the 4000 makes since.

What is the SRE2735X?

Amazon.com: MOR/ryde SRE2735X Suspension System: Automotive

I don't see it on their website.

Brad............that is Amazon's crude way of defining a Mor/ryde SRE 4000, part number SRE2-735X which is the SRE 4000 for a 35 inch axle spacing.

What MorRyde does one use on the 8000 lb. axles if you cannot use the SRE 4000?

Whew !!!!! Did the install today of the sre4000 and the wet bolt upgrade. Get an impact tool to take the old nuts off. Drop the equalizer first and stare at the blown out plastic inserts. Get the grease gun and lube the brass inserts an tap them in with a hammer. When you try to pound the new hanger bolts, the hanger will bend and the splined end of the bolt will not seat. Take at least a floor jack to mess with the axles and a crow bar. The outside set of leaf springs, line up is a serious challenge. The X member is a challenge too. Bolt one side, then get a BIG clamp to suck the two together, then tork your side bolts to the 40 psi and the spline will suck in.

Took grease very well. Tork the wheels at 110. Get a drink

Did you use the 33" unit or the 35" unit? Do you happen to have a picture of the completed install?
Thanks for the experience post!

Glad you got it together and thanks for the heads up! From the description, it sounds like even the wet bolt upgrade will be a challenge. Guess I won't be doing that in the State Park, or I may have to have it towed away if I run into trouble.
