Grey Water Tanks 31SL

Two Issues:
1. After a trip to the next site I remove the drain cap an approximately 1/2 gallon of grey water comes out, every time. Must be one of the cable valves works loose, but cannot tell at the releases.
2. The release handles for grey water have different names, top is Galley Tank and bottom is Grey Tank. The monitors on the panel just have grey 1 & 2. Nothing on the Redwood drawings indicate Tank 1 or 2. When we are using the Redwood Grey Tank 1 fills first when we are using the galley and bathroom. Never been able to come off empty in Tank 2. When we pull the Galley Tank release it drains Tank 1. There is hardly any water comes out of Grey Tank release.
The only thing I can see is both the galley and bathroom drain into the same Tank, hard to believe they could make that kind of error ! The drawings show no cross tank connections.
Any comments or similar experiences ?

Can only speak of our 36FB. Although RW has on the drawings that the shower empties into the Galley tank [1] it really empties into the Grey tank [2] along with the Bath sink & the washer.

We have always had some drainage from one of the grey tanks when I uncap the sewer line upon arrival but nowhere near 1/2 gallon, ours is more like a few to several ounces, always less than a pint.

serves two purposes,
allows you to not be splashed when taking off the endcap
and
allows you to close this valve and open both grey tank valves to effectively double your greay tank storage...

Unless a person has the coach tilted toward the drain, and gives it enough time for everything to drain out, you are going to get a little when you take the cap off after traveling. I like to keep the drains open for a few minutes after I think they are empty to give a chance for everything to drain.

Just got back from the Service Center 2 weeks ago with my 31SL and one of the issues I had them look at was that everything seems to drain into the same gray tank. Oh yes, I also brought up the idea of why they would label the tanks inside as #1 and #2 and outside as Galley and gray? Very confusing for the user. Anyway, I was told that the engineers planned the gray tanks that way (Kitchen sink, shower, drain into the galley) and the vanity drains into the other gray tank. I asked them how long they thought it would take for me to fill a 45 gallon tank by brushing my teeth. They thought the setup was a little strange but told me it was not a warranty issue. I have purchased the valve needed at the drain site so that I can fill up both tanks when I need it.

We get a few drops, but it is only the residual from the pipe that collects during the transit.
