Crossroads told me ANY R.V.I.A. REPAIR CAN AND IS APPROVED, now that being said, I'd check with CROSSROADS, even though I have an email telling me ALL RVIA REPAIR TECHS CAN INSPECT & text to crossroads.
Our 36FL,PRE-APPROVED TOOK 8 weeks and main awning still has issues.

Forgot to say: ASK FOR THE CHECKLIST INSPECTOR IS GOING TO USE, take photos, particularly the Roof and windows. Protect you investment!

The checklist is on the first few pages of your manual. It's pretty useless if you ask me. It's way too high level. I don't see how Redwood could trust that list to uphold your warranty.

Comes to find out that we did not even have a "manual" with the checklist, so they are sending one out.

Still wish we could go to any certified RV place. For me, 5 minutes vs 3.5 hours ??

Yes, it is exciting to get her back. Looks like they finish paint on Monday, seal it on Tues and pickup on Wed. I guess the time frame was not all that bad considering they bill out 1 hour per foot on the roof

Explore USA in Canton, tx. Call Cody Willis at 903-865-1580. We called made an apt they looked it over took pics, ordered parts and we went on our way. Made another apt a couple of months later came back got all repairs made in one day and headed for VT. They did a great job.

Sounds like your experience at Explore is not the norm unfortunately.

Cody did fantastic for us - We bought ours there and the brake controller was fried for the disks. While waiting for a new one from Redwood, his crew took care of everything on our list + some things we missed. His parts person worked with us for several months after that to order alternative décor for the bedroom.

Cody at ExploreUSA has also done a great job for me, but I called last week and was told Cody was no longer working there. What a bummer! I just got a quote of 179$ from them to do the inspection. Cody charged half an hour last year and they found several warranty issue that needed to be addressed. Some were repaired that day and I returned later for another. I feel 179$ is excessive, but what have others paid.

WE HAD OUR Awning support and motor repaired @ Canton, when I extended THE AWNING I found screws are # 8's maybe 10's, if they had sealed the SCREWS properly; I would not now be worried about water damage to my wall. Now the Awning drive has a serve wobble, according to a RVIA company they did not repair the awning drive because they left some screws out of the motor support. Got to contact REDWOOD about the broken awning Redwood paid to get fixed! More as this issue unfolds. BTW I need the inspection also, according to REDWOOD any RVIA repair/inspection member.

FYI - Just called ExploreUSA for an estimate on the inspection $250....

Maybe we should start our own inspection service, $250 for 15 minutes equates to $1000 an hour, wouldn't mind a couple 8 hour days a month of that, that would keep me in diesel for a while

Hmmm, lost my other post...

called another Exploreusa and they want $360 for the 3 hour inspection...

I am ahead of the curve I think if you define the anniversary date as the date the rv was first delivered to you, but there is a little ambiguity in that...

is it the factory order date ?
is it the date you signed the papers?
is it the delivery date to the dealer ?
is it the date you took possession?

called a crossroads dealer and he wouldn't do it at all...

Had our inspection done today at Camping World Albuquerque. Total charge was $180 for roughly 1.5 hours work. They only found a few items listed below and had it finished within a couple of hours of dropping off.

Items found:
-Roof sealant on rear cap has some issues. Probably a 5 min fix.
-Bottom trim piece on Schwintek slide has sealant that's cracked, needs fresh silicone.
-Trim above passenger side wheel well is pulling away from wall, needs additional attachment work and then resealed (This is probably a warranty item and will have to wait until later this year)
- A couple of running lights need additional sealing. Another easy Silicone fix.

All in all not too bad. For about an hour's labor Camping World could've fixed just about all of them but they didn't have the matching roof sealant and wanted to use Dicor. I mentioned that I have the exact roof sealant used by Redwood and would likely just do all the fixes myself and the Service Manager said he'd probably do the same if he was me. He was a really nice guy.
