Can't say for sure, but in residential units that arm snaps into place...at least on our Kitchen-Aide it did. Are you seeing a crack somewhere? That sounds like dealer warranty, IMHO, unless they're 100s of miles away.

The first time we used our F/P we kept getting error codes.. Could not figure it out so I called their product support. The tech asked me what code , I told them, and they told me the spray arm was off..?? really ?? Ok , I will look at that , sure enough it just sits on there..
Now that is one of the things we check at first set up , before any dishes get loaded.. It is easy enough to check...
ps , it works like a charm ! !

Ya, mine pops off during travel as well, and I'll get the code. I just know now to set it back on there before I use it and it works like a charm.

X3, ours falls off occasionally. The dishwasher works fantastic, one of the best options we choose.

They just pop off and nothing holding them on. We love it and works great except I just installed a New one today. We purchased a used one last year since our rig did not come with one..... wellllll.... lets just say don't buy used dishwashers but I am getting good at installing them.

very odd design seems the water pressure would blow it off of there anyway, it would just hit bottom of basket and not turn? or come off , will run and check this thing out.

does the new dishwasher spray arm just set on top of pump assembly also? all i see is a large round opening in the bottom of spray arm. nothing on bottom of basket to aid in spinning or retain spray arm??

thanks for your support and knowledge

It seemed weird to me as well, but it seems to work fine. Maybe the rack holds it down in the center?

I thought it was weird also,,, I even second guessed the tech on the phone... asking them to repeat what they said.. Thought that perhaps something was lost in the TRANSLATION .. literally .. . . .

If you have the dishwasher & are changing the kitchen faucet, then start practicing cussing now. If I had been 3' tall, arms 6' long with at least 2 more joints it would've been a piece of cake, but I'm not so it was done by only feel & no good place for a light so in the dark also. But it can be done with patience & perseverance along with LOTS of cussing.

Would have been nice if they had added doors to the other side of the island. I have had that on our last MH and it was great if you needed to get under their and do any repairs.

Love our F-P dishwasher. No problems as long as the gen's frequency is at 60 Hz and not at 63 HZ.

My biggest issue with the F/P dishwasher is the necessity of using "soft" water. Our two winters in AZ with their very "hard" water promotes excessive spotting. We currently use the RV Pro10000 and have to regenerate it about once a week or 10 days, and then the dishwasher is happy and does a great job.

We too are in Ariz & can go 30-45 days before regenerating our RV Pro. The water softener was also a very wise purchase in our case.

Hard water is a given on this lake. I have been using Finish Platinum tabs with our F-P. So far, so good.

Oh, oh, a senior moment. I use Finish QuantumMAX tabs, not Finish Platinum our F-P dishwasher.
