Hey there is a cool aftermarket gadget that does it. I think Grandpa got one and tried it in his Norcold and really likes it. Hopefully he will step in.

I have found a roof mount kit, but I don't think will work on the RW's since the fridge is in the slide out.

I've been using the smart rv fridge fans for about 6 months. It helped immensely. I literally lowered the fridge setting a few numbers (9-7) after installing and the fridge stays the same temp as before. Probably takes about 20-30 mins to install.

I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Love it! We live in South Texas where the heat and humidity can be ferocious. This gadget was a life saver for us. One tip... We tend to overload the fridge. Just remember to leave room for the air to circulate.

We were camped next to the guy who invented this. We had a proto type on our Dometic and loved it.

Johnboy, I have all afternoon having my computer scrubbed. Thank goodness for Office Depot Online. It will be a couple of days before I send that to you, I don't have a paypal account. My wife does, but she is taking my mother in-law to a funeral and will be out town for a couple of days and I don't want to both her with this now.

I don't understand where that information came from in your profile maybe that part of the problem I was having with the computer. I did not mean to offend you sir. ( I am sure my Rhett Butler is worse than yours)

We replaced our Dometic with a Res frig. Found out switch on Dometic was corroded, once I started cycling thru setting, switch started working. Worked great for the last month before we replaced unit. Any one looking for a 2 yr old Dometic 12 cubic ft RV frig? Works great now! We are in Dallas, Tx.
