Closet Door Redwood Tree Cutout

On the closet doors over the glass is some sort of veneer cutout of redwood trees. After being in the unit for about six weeks now the veneer has warped and pulled away from the door enough to make it rub on the walls when you slide them open or close them.
I tried to put on double face tape but it's hard to get it in behind the veneer. I took a hot glue gun from the shop and shot hot glue in behind the veneer and it worked perfectly. I put 3 dabs of glue in the worst places. It dries in seconds and it looks like new.

Yep - mine was replaced once, but several months later it happened again. I ended up gluing my cutout to the glass.

Mine did the same thing, only the cutout would pop up once slid back into the closet - preventing the door from coming back out.

When we visited the factory, they did the same thing - glued it to the glass. Hasn't been a problem since.
