Your glass shelf is nice. Where did you get it?How much have you travelled with it? Did you use any special fixtures to keep it in place?

jpdunc - I did add some additional bracing behind the basement wall. I don't remember for sure what type of wood I used, but I believe I screwed on a piece of hardwood on the backside of the basement wall to support the swing out arm. I remounted my bedroom TV on a swing out arm as well. I made some modifications to the mounting bracket so I can easily remove the bedroom TV and slip mount it on the basement swing out arm.

Bklamb - I purchased mine online. It's made by Moen. I don't remember where I purchased them but I found them on Amazon at: http://www.amazon.com/Moen-DN8490CH-...ion/B000QU3EB6 and at Home Depot online. I've traveled ~4000 miles with the glass shelves and no problems. I mounted them using metal toggle bolts in the wall. I didn't want them going any where.

Wow! 4000 miles shows the shelf can handle travel, if properly installed. Thanks for the info.

Don't know if anyone knows, or still needs to know, but Crossroads/Redwood have been sending out covers to install in the basement to cover the awning switches. We actually had one installed during the factory annual inspection in 2012 and found our last month that they mailed us another one to our old address. Perhaps they have instituted a recall/fix for all redwood owners.

Yes, I believe it was a recall, and signing for delivery is their documentation you received the fix.
