Love all the talk about weapons... too bad I live in Canada. Had a 12 gauge Remington pump and 2 .22 cal weapons when I was 14. Joined the Canadian Forces Reserve at 17 and fired 9mm pistol, 7.62 mm rifle, 9 mm SMG, 30 cal and 50 cal machine gun. Then our federal govt came out with national gun registry and weapons got sold when we had little ones. Want to travel between US and Canada but that gets ugly up here. I'm an Alberta boy and double 0 or rock salt recalibrates most people without flat out killing 'em... just more paperwork I guess. We can't exert more force than our assailant... kinda hard to do an inventory when someone hopped up on goofballs is coming at you!

On the courtesy note, ran into a nut bitching about my Canadian flag one time in a park. We left the next day...

Oh wow - can't believe somebody would do that. Surprised nobody has bitched about my Texas flag. They sure do about Texas plates up here.

I love a patriot... especially around Canada Day and 4th of July or now when we celebrate Remembrance Day On Nov 11.
I see lots of US flags up here and lots of Vet affiliation flags flown by travelling Americans and Canadians and I have no issues.
I guess I will ensure I have both nations flying when we start to travel more... I fly a courtesy flag when I dock in American waters on my sailboat. I get no issues there.
