Bedroom A/C breaker pops

Hi Guys, I have A 2014 31sl and have read a lot on this subject, my breaker pops after being on for 2 to 3 minutes. Turn the Ac off and reset breaker and it pops again, anyone had the issue, filters look clean, also since the age would replacing caps be a starting point.

Look at the integrity of the wiring in the unit, then the caps. If replacing the caps, you may as well go for the hard-start cap set-up.

If you have a clamp on ammeter, you can also check to make sure the breaker isn't weak. While you have the cover off the unit, you just as well give the coils a good cleaning. There are instructional videos on the internet to learn how to do that.

More than one person has found loose connection in the Power Distribution Panel. Remove all power and pull the cover and check the tightness at all breakers.

I would suggest looking for a loose connection, chances are that's my #1 go to . then a $10 breaker from HD is my next bet. if the AC runs and starts normal then I suspect breaker that may have a bad connection inside. Check to see if the breaker is warm on the face when it trips.
