When there was no solution, there were lots of comments and interest on this subject. Now that Lippert has recommended a solution, I haven't really seen many comments at all. Has anyone tried the additive and has it made a difference? If so, which of the additives have you used?

Service center added it to mine while there, prior to that we had only minor popping when on very unlevel/unstable ground. Since then I have not noticed any popping and we are currently setting in an unlevel spot. They removed 1 quart from reservoir and replaced Maxima fork oil, I think was the brand. It's a motorcycle fork oil.

I had Lazydays apply the fix to ours about two weeks ago. So far we've only noticed the noise once since then. Prior to the fix it happened nearly every night. I'm hoping with a few more cycles the problem will be remedied permanently.

I used the Caterpillar Hydraulic Oil Additive 1U-9891 as instructed a couple of weeks ago but have not used the unit since. Should have some real time results over the Labor Day weekend.

Guess we're very fortunate...I've never noticed tha we have experienced the popping so I have not made the modification yet.

We had the popping about a week after we got set up. After here about a month, we moved the coach over about 4 inches in our lot. Much to our surprise, we don't hear the popping anymore.
