Greetings,

We have a 2012 36RL, and the Shower drain is leaking water between the drain and the shower enclosure. Water eventually seeps out between the floor and the shower enclosure. (I think it's missing some plumbers putty)

Who can I access the drain fitting to fix the leak. Do I need to remove the basement panel to gain access, or is there an easier way?

Thank you!

Your warranty should cover that repair. I would recommend contacting the crossroads/redwood factory service rep, relay your problem, have them advise where to take it to get your issue fixed under warranty.

Thank you

You have to take done the garage wall. It is secured with S2 square headed screws.

Be sure not to disconnect the vaccum. There are a couple of screws that hold the bracket to the back of the garage wall. Very tight and hard to re-allign. I was in there last week running a new cable line. I looked like a big old bear in a den working in there. Good luck.

On my RL, I started on the drivers side and worked inward removing the screws. It's not too hard to do if you have a screw gun.

Thanks everyone.

After removing the panel, I was able to reach upto the showerdrain fitting, and snug it up.

I like to check these a couple of times a year. Theyseem to loosen up after traveling.

Regards

Good to hear you got it fixed. If it's still leaks, undo it and put some plumbers putty under the drain cover in the shower. Roll the plumbers putty into a six or eight inch snake about a 1/4 inch thick and put under the bottom of the the drain cover. Then reattach it to the drain pipe.
