Dan from BC,

I am also looking at retirement and doing as much RVing as possible. Make sure you check into the rules for Healthcare... most provinces don't like us away from the Motherland more than 6 months. Each province requires a "principle residence"... I plan on getting even with one of my kids to meet that requirement.
I bought an e-book called Full Time RVing in Canada to do my research.

We are looking a 6 months south and 3 months with each of the kids. If I can get the house sold I would use my son as theprincipleaddress. I must see if I can find that e-book, thanks fo the info

We too plan on using one of our kids for our legal address. We will stay with them in Alberta for the required 6 months, living in our RV on their acreage. We also bought the "Full Time RVing in Canada" and found it helpful in our research. A lot of the American full-timers information out there often doesn't apply to our situation, with our climate, healthcare, taxes, etc, and the authors give us the Canadian perspective. As it is an E-book, so you can download it as soon as you pay for it.
