Glad everyone is ok, you can replace the camper but not lives. Where are you located at? I generally try to get under trees in the summer and this is always my fear. As Jim stated you have the redwood family to support you..

Nobody was hurt ( MOST IMPORTANT ).. The RV stays in my driveway, behind the house... It is/was the neighbors tree...

Was never really concerned about it, the winds have and have always blown the opposite direction. The tree is string and was healthy... I think lightning may have hit it an hour before and weekend it.

Wow Joe! Glad no one was hurt!!! You'll need more than a roll of Eternabond to patch that leak. Kinda disrupts the travel season though!

Danny, we had our next trip on Memorial day,,, then 4th of July.. DW said we will be in a new camper by July 4th ..???

The issue is that we never have gone to an RV show and liked another fifth wheel like we do this one... The search will be a hard one...

Even if we find a 17 left over... the DW WANTS the slide in slide again... Not sure I know when they stopped making them though..

So very sorry for you! The photos make me sick. I know you especially loved your RW model. I think they stopped making the slide in slide with the 2016 model, which is what we have. Actually that's what prompted us to buy when we did because we thought they'd stopped making the floor plan and we loved it. Above all glad you're safe!

It's not looking good for me to be in another Redwood.... My wife is not thrilled about BOTH exterior colors, and the floor plans.....

Maybe that will change after the HURT leaves from the incident earlier this morning...

well.... about 1:00 am she says to me..... hey, I found this Redwood that is really nice, It"s a 19 with Sterling Pain ( newer version of our paint Black and Silver) and it is a 3991RD.... Is a good looking layout.

Now we need Insurance to come out and tell us what we get... THEN we need to see how to make the difference happen....

Happy Easter and glad no one was hurt. Sorry for the loss, wow that was just brutally honest about what a tree can do to one of these things.

Good luck with the insurance issue and finding another Rv, don't know if I can be of help down here in Florida, but all you have to do is ask. Does the neighbor have any liability or does air space of a tree growing over to your side come into place?

Look forward to hearing your posts on what transpires.
